CJSLogo_500

Dina Wakley is an amazing artist and it is wonderful to see her. The first time I saw her was actually when she visited Hamburg a couple of years ago and she and a friend of us hang out together exploring my neighborhood a bit. She is an awesome teacher and I am thrilled to have her again for CJS 🙂

DinaWakley

I’m Dina Wakley and I live in Glendale, AZ with my husband and three fellas. I love everything about art! I teach online and in-person classes.  I started scrapbooking in 1995. Scrapbooking led to stamping, which led to mixed-media art. Now I spend most of my time making mixed-media projects and working in my art journal. I truly adore art journaling. You simply cannot do it wrong!

giveaway

I’m pleased to give away a copy of my new book, Art Journal Freedom! I firmly believe art journaling has no rules…you can do whatever you want. However, if you know the “rules,” you can bend them and twist them to make your personal expression sing and soar. My book covers several composition and color rules that will give you the freedom to use them and break them and create the effects you want. The book includes lots of examples of each principle, page challenges, and some fun step-by-step techniques for you to try
