Altered: Hansel and Gretel

If you are from Germany you pretty much grew up with the fairy tale of Hansel and Gretel but I’m sure most of the world knows this fairy tale 🙂 Here is their house 😉

Hier ist das Haus von Hänsel und Gretel 😉

I had so much fun altering the wooden house and dressing Hansel and Gretel 🙂

For the roof and on the Pink Paislee Frame I used lot’s of Tattered Angels Glimmer Glam – I love that stuff 🙂

Supplies. Pink Paislee: Bayberry Cottage Paper, Queen Bee Paper, Artisan Elements Frame, 365 Degrees Ribbon ; Tattered Angels Glimmer Glam,  Crackle Medium.

Hope you like it 🙂

  1. ahhh, too cute and also a bit x-massy!!!! 😉

  2. But of course I know this fairy tale and it scared me a little when I was a child. Your Gretel looks more sophisticated than the one I remember. You are making some wonderful non-LO items these days. Did you decide where the mirror is going? (ha ha)

  3. I did…I did…you just brought back a flood of memories…oh my! Tears in my eyes…ahem…that is awesome Nat!

  4. this is so cute and whimsical, i would love something like that on my windowsill, Hänsel and Gretel overlooking the (hopefully soon again) snow-covered playground!
    have a lovely weekend!

  5. This is wicked!!!!! Love it so much

  6. Oh I love the house – and I know the tale of course! And where is the Witch? 🙂

  7. mmmm and where’s the chocolate? 🙂 Beautiful and very creative. Love it
